It's a pleasure to connect with you and share my passion for both birth work and energy work! Being a doula holds a special place in my heart and I'm grateful to have found my calling in life. My journey began with a doula training course by Enlightened Mama (DONA) in Minneapolis, MN. After completing the course, I was eager to pursue this path.
I started my own practice in Iowa and later worked as a doula coordinator for a non-profit organization that catered to young mothers aged 12-22. I loved my work there as I provided resources to young mothers, conducted childbirth education, and attended their births. I continued this work until I moved to Austin, TX where I worked as an on-call doula for a local collective before transitioning to another non-profit organization that supported black mothers.
As a doula, my work is both fulfilling and crucial in serving others. I hold certifications as both a childbirth educator (ICEA) and a Certified Lactation Counselor (ALPP), and take joy in educating individuals about their bodies, their rights, and how they can advocate for themselves during labor in any setting.
I provide assistance in hospitals, birth centers, and even home settings, regardless of the way you choose to give birth. Additionally, I have a daughter who was born in 2020, and she brings immense joy to my life. During my leisure time, I enjoy spending time with her, practicing yoga, exploring nature through hiking, reading, and preparing vegan meals for myself, as well as my friends and family. I put my heart and soul into everything I do, ensuring that each client has the warmest and most exceptional experience possible. Thank you for visiting my website today.
